Jean Massieu School of the Deaf's 20th Anniversary Celebration
On August 29, 2019, Jean Massieu School of the Deaf celebrated its 20th Anniversary. JMS alumni, former teachers and staff members along with the Utah Deaf community came to the event to celebrate its milestone with dinner, awards, and a play.
JMS co-founders Minnie Mae Wilding-Diaz and Jeff Allen as well as JMS leader Joe Zeidner came to the event to receive recognition awards. Hats off to their hard work and dedication in establishing and operating JMS!
Thanks goes to Joel Coleman, USDB Superintendent, Michelle Tanner, USD Associate Superintendent, and Aimee Breinholt, JMS Principal for recognizing the value of JMS and hosting the celebration event for the Deaf community.
Last, but not least, hats off to Amanda Tolle, a Deaf individual for a job well done designing the JMS Historical Timeline!
