I'm thrilled to announce some amazing news about Parker Holt, who is from Utah and graduated from Gallaudet University in 2020! He has received the Pre-Law Writing Award from Gallaudet University, which is truly well-deserved!
His essay looked into how Utah's laws affect the Deaf community, and Parker put a lot of thought into his analysis and recommendations. It's great to think about how his work could help bring about positive changes!
Parker also mentioned that the Utah Deaf History website played a significant role in his research, which is fantastic. The Gallaudet community truly recognized his hard work and dedication, and to top it off, he was honored by the Department Chair of Government and Public Affairs with the prestigious 2021 Undergraduate Awards!
