Author's Note
I would like to express my gratitude to Keith E. Stewart, who graduated from the Utah School for the Deaf in 1958, for scanning and identifying the photos featured on this website. Wayne Stewart, a 1930 class graduate and enthusiastic photographer, took these photos. He captured memories of the school, the local church, and the friends he cherished.
I encourage you to take a moment to view these incredible and authentic photographs of the students who attended the Utah School for the Deaf, including Wayne, as well as those involved in the social events of the Utah Deaf community. In the pictures below, I have chosen to present them in their original, unaltered state to preserve their historical significance. These photos are not just artifacts from the past; they also hold a personal connection for me. I am fond of styles from the 1920s to the 1940s, and I am thrilled to share Wayne's photos with you! I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!
Enjoy!
